We are Home!

We arrived home last night about 5:30. Pierre did wonderful. He slept half of the long flight and was an old experienced traveler by the time we arrived in Wenatchee. I thought our first struggle would be with seatbelts but it wasn't an issue.
We spent around three hours at customs in Miami. I was glad I didn't have to catch another flight. Most of those waiting, missed their connections.
Our first melt down was over our dog. He was so afraid but by this morning, he is still wary but giving commands, "go lay down Toni" and calling her baby Belle. (Belle is the big dog at COTP) We haven't had any food issues and the digestive tract seems to be working normal. Yeah!
Kudos to Helen as she did an excellent job taking caring of the house and Wes.
I will try to write more later.
Blessings,
Julie

Julie I am so thrilled to hear you are home safe and sound! I will continue to pray for an easy adjustment and of course, your mommas heart. I have been to Haiti 5 times and I have left one of my children behind each time I came home. My heart aches for you but I will continue to pray you will be back in Haiti soon.
