This week's news brought more delays. NLL has filed a Judgement for Jeffrey's mother's death certificate. Waiting on National Archives for anything is never good news. No one will give me a time line and I don't know if they can. I explained our whole senario to my State Representative. They sent an email to the person in charge of Visa's who promptly replied ask NLL or COTP about your case. When I went into further detail, telling them that, Jeffrey had been legally adopted a year ago and it was my US gov't that is denying me my child for the past six months , they sent another email to WA DC which was promptly rejected and I was told that is all they can do.
Kendy is at the same place as Jeffrey except he hasn't had his parent interview yet. I was told the consulate wasn't sure they knew where his file was since they moved.....give me a break ......they have had it since February. Kendy turns five on July 11.......It would be nice if they could see fit to let me bring him home. I am told there is a new person in charge of Visa's now. We will see if it means anything different.
Pierre asks everyday....will Jeffrey or Kendy go on the airplane today? will they share my toys? sleep with me? I show him pictures and it breaks my heart to see how little my boys were when we started this process.
Oh Lord, how long?
Blessings,
Julie
