Growing Through the Trials

Last week I recieved an email from our COTP that our final dossier had been delivered to the consulate and we could call and make our Visa apt. on Wed, Jan. 2. They like to give the consulate one week to look over the paperwork. I tried to call the consulate on Monday and no one was in the office which wasn't a surprise. On Wed. I got up at 5 AM to make the call ....with the three hour time difference, it would be 8AM in PAP. I was told it was a Haitian holiday call back on Thursday or today. I once again got up a 5AM to make the exciting call to be told that I had to call back at 1PM thier time to talk to the right person. What was a few more hours? When I finally I got to talk to someone she told me that they did not have the documents that were supposed to be delivered last week. I should know by now that if it can go wrong it will......it is so hard for me to be pessimistic. Here I thought we were home free....I would get to be with Jeffrey on his third birthday....but no I will miss this birthday too.
It seems that NLL who was supposed to deliver the papers to the consulate, in fact did not and didn't bother to tell anyone. The reason for the delay was explained and the paper work was once again to be delivered to the consulate. Once again I wait......
I will call once again on Monday to see where we are in this process.

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing this that the testing of your faith produces patience. James 1:2

Blessings,
Julie

I am so sorry.
I feel like I am banging my head against a wall at times reading about the delay's, mishaps, miscommunications, people not following through etc.
Enough is enough already. Keep calling until it get's done, I agree with LeAnne.
Hugs and PRAYERS. Again, I am so sorry.
