Meet Kenzy

Kenzy was known as Ti(small) Kendy at COTP. Kendy is pronounced Kenzy so we decided to keep a part of his Haitian heritage and the name his mother gave him.

He has an infectious giggle and when he smiles it lights up his whole face and it doesn't matter if he is laughing at something funny or commonly when he is causing trouble. He celebrated his fifth birthday on July 11th in Haiti.

He is a very curious child, asking often,"What's that?"

Here he is examining a hole in the picnic table. He and his brothers are quite the gourmet cooks, serving up meals daily at the picnic table. Dad was even invited to eat one day as he passed by. As you can see they really get into their work and they regularly have dirt everywhere.

Kenzy loves to sing and will break out into song when you least expect it. He will stop all he is doing to listen to Every Move I Make.
He is very affectionate and tells me he loves me except when I tell not to do something or correct him, then he says, "Kenzy does not like mommy." He usually doesn't last long though.

Kenzy loves to swim and has no fear. He has already jumped off
diving board and doesn't care if he has his floats on or off. We have been working on the back float but he hasn't quite got the coordination of laying straight! Not to mention he can't lay, sit, or do anything still!
Here is one of those rare moments. We have been working on colors and letters.
He is happy to be with his brothers and we are glad God put him in our family! He certainly adds liveliness to our house.

Blessings,

Julie

It's so great to read about your boys, Julie! It sounds like they are quite busy and bringing you lots of joy as well!
We are waiting to hear we are out of MOI anyday now, so hopefully we'll have our two home soon!

Hey, Those are my knees in that picture of Kenzy coloring! :) It was a rare moment...they colored nicely for awhile, before they started throwing the crayons! They ARE great kids, I miss them! I love reading about how they're doing! :)
